Sabi na nga ba. Well sa bandang huli mawawala din naman talaga si Roi sa ue, mas ok na magbuo nalang ng team na fit sa pumaren system. Sana coach franz kunin na din ng ue as consultant malaki matutulong pagdating sa pagrecruit. Matagal pa naman ang uaap kaya mahabahaba pang preparasyon ito. Haha sana mapunta sa nlex si roi ganda panuorin ito sa pro.

Nasa watchlist daw ni Pumaren lahat ng may koneksyon kay Chongson.

Sa monday magdadagsaan ang Bullpups sa Warriors’ Den. Pinapunta daw sila sa UE gawa ng line-up revamp.

Kung lahat ng senyores wala na sa line-up, pati si Ivan Hernandez sigurado tanggal na.

Ivan who? Anyway, May mga cebu players na nasa news lately na hindi sure saan magcocollege dapat aware sila sa mga tao dun. Baka fit sa system ng pumaren sayang kung maglaro lang ng cesafi tapos magtransfer lng sa uaap kpag mataas na ang presyo, you know. Hahaha.

May nirerefer sa akin yung isang taga, yung mayol magkapatid 6’4 taga cebu. Ang prob airfare at accommodations nila para makapagtry-out.

Si Arafat may pagka-gimikero. One time dumalaw kami sa UE mga past 10 na. UAAP season nun, pinipilit lumabas ni Arafat kasama si Awana may gimik sila. Ayaw sila palabasin ng mga guards nagagalit sila. Ayun pinalabas din.

Si Sumang tambay ng Guilly's Timog. Ilang beses na namin nakita dun kahit on-going ang UAAP Season, ang nakita namin na kasama nya si Adi Santos.

may palag parin kahit papano. bench will be suspect though (i dont think charcos ,derige, cudal makes it back to team A baka si guiang pwede pa) -- depende kung sino yang powerhouse freshies na yan , wala akong nakikitang malakas na true freshmen (mark dyke of nu bullpups only comes to mind) baka fil-ams yan or hugot sa ibang school na tinago

UNIVERSITY of the East star Roi Sumang played down protests over his non-inclusion in the Gilas Pilipinas cadet pool, saying he may not have been able to show his best during the tryouts due to fatigue. Although his coach in the PBA developmental league believes there were other factors aside from performance that led to him being left out of the 16-man pool, Sumang saw it differently. He said he feels he was never in top form during the national pool training sessions because he also practices with UE and Tanduay Light. When Spin.ph visited the Gilas cadet pool tryouts conducted by Tab Baldwin at the Philsports Arena, Sumang was not around. “Hindi ko siguro kinaya. Pagod talaga ako lagi. Practice ako sa Tanduay tapos pumupunta ako sa tryouts. Pagod talaga,” Sumang said. Siguro desisyon talaga ni coach Tab ’yun,” Sumang said when Spin.ph caught up with him after his first game with Tanduay Light in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup. “Darating talaga sa point mo rin ’yun na hindi ka mapipili. Pero dapat hindi ka ma-down,” Sumang added. “Nung hindi ako nakuha, sobrang focus na ako sa ginagawa ko. Nandoon na ’yung pride mo eh. Hindi ko lang siguro kinaya.” Sumang was part of the gold medal-winning Philippine team to the Southeast Asian Games in 2013 in Myanmar, and was expected to shine in this year’s batch of Gilas cadet members also known as Sinag Pilipinas. But he didn’t make 16-man roster that features younger untested players. From the pool will come the final squad that will see action in the Southeast Asian Basketball Association (Seaba) championship in Singapore from April 27 to May 1, and the SEA Games in July, also in the Lion City. Tanduay Light coach Lawrence Chongson believes Sumang was hurt by his non-inclusion more than he cares to admit, saying the UE star could be using the ‘snub’ as motivation for the current D-League conference. “Kutob ko, it’s a motivating factor for him,” Chongson said. “Nasaktan ’yung bata.” Chongson admitted he already had a hunch Sumang won’t be included in the national pool. “Kutob ko na talaga na hindi siya makakasama. Siyempre, may sponsor ’yan (Gilas), siyempre may mga shoo-in na. Si Sumang, nasa kalaban na team. Saka na siguro 'yun kapag kami na ang nag-manage ng team,” the outspoken coach added. hahaisssst! wag naman sana maging dahilan na naman next season na rebuilding phase na naman ang UE dahil sa mga in and outs na players.

@Sumang's Case - i guess kailangan na nga ren i-let go siya. Quality player, yes. Pero kung attitude/ego issues better let him go!

@Gino's Case - Bakit taya tinataboy? will he still be enjoying full tuition fee kahit di na sya athlete? Sayang legit slasher pa naman ito kaso minsan pasaway din sa mga plays ni Coach Derek kaya lagi siguro nasa-Bench. jk

@Mammie's Case - His strong presence in the paint will surely be missed! Siguro nga dahil sa mga na-anakan niya na ang naging issue dito or yung sinasabeng papeles niya sa home country niya.

Wala ba mga tune-up games?! Fil-Oil League kailan ba ito?! hahahaha Very Happy

Matagal pa ang next season, Sept pa!! sana maayos pa ang dapat maayos! still hoping for the best for UE!!

From my source: here's what really came down, Manong Derrick kicked him (Sumang) out of the team when he tested + on the drug test...and he ain't the only casualty of manong's "cleansing" move. Mammie's out too.
