"So, sana ma-meet ko siya in person."
Lee explained that he likes that the fact that Gloc 9's songs are socially relevant and addresses problems in Philippine society.
"’Yung songs ni Gloc 9 very powerful… may sense at social relevance.
Late last year, Lee released his first music video "Angas," composed by Joven Tan.

UNIVERSITY of the East has landed a commitment from Chiang Kai Shek College guard Fran Yu, according to a source. A skilled but relative unknown high school player, the 5-foot-8 Blue Dragons guard hopes to be a key piece for the Red Warriors. Yu won the Finals Most Valuable Player in this year’s Philippine Secondary Schools Basketball Championship Ironcon Builders Cup, scoring 21 points, seven rebounds, and six assists.
Another CKSC Blue Dragons cager in Shannon Gagante has also committed to the Derrick Pumaren-mentored Red Warriors. UE missed the Final Four last year, bowing to eventual champion National University in a playoff for the No. 4 seed in the Final Four. CKSC graduating star JV Gallego is expected to suit up for the NU Bulldogs in the UAAP, joining former teammate Mohammed Salim in the pool.

Arellano, Perpetual Arrange FMC Open Title Showdown
By [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
7 March 2015, FEU Gym, Manila - Arellano University and Perpetual Help University will dispute the Fr Martin Cup Open Division championship as they disposed of separate foes at the sweltering Far Eastern gym in downtown Manila.
Arellano outlasted University of the East 73-64, while Perpetual mauled San Beda College 93-66 in the knockout semifinals.
UE actually jumped the gun on Arellano, racing to a 0-7 start and built as much as a 4-15 lead midway through the first period.
But the Chiefs regrouped behind pointguard Jio Jalalon and shooting guard Zach Nicholls to turn things around 21-19 early in the second period. Coach Jerry Codinera's boys never looked back from there.
The Warriors of Coach Derrick Pumaren hung around behind 6'8" import Bernard Awana's strong inside game, and the all-around hustle of brothers Paul and Jason Varilla, but just could not regain the upper hand.
Burly big men John Bangga and Mac Tano tool turns controlling the boards and the lane to frustrate the inside game of UE, staving off the repeated Warrior rallies. Nichols then nailed back-to-back three-pointers to make it 61-71 for his Chiefs with some two minutes and change left in the game.
"I'm happy we were able to play better defense in the second half, and the boys really earned it," said Codinera after the game.
Nichols led Arellano with 19 points including four treys. Jalalon added 12 points.
Awana had 20 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks for the Warriors but got little help from the rest of his guys.
In the second game, the Altas established control early on against the Red Lions and practically cruised to the win.
Reigning NCAA MVP Scottie Thompson controlled the game early for his Altas as they went zoomed to the 11-4 lead to start the game.
San Beda put on a mini-run to come within 13-11 behind Jeramer Cabanag but that would be as close as the Red Lions would get.
Newcomer Mac Ylagan conspired with Crispin Elopre, Gerald Dizon, Ric Gallardo and imports John Eze and Akhoutei Bright to establish a 50-39 halftime lead and simply never looked back.
Playing without his top NCAA veterans, Coach Jamike Jarin just could not match up against the veteran Altas of father and son Coaches Aric and Lester Del Rosario.
The 6-foot-7 Eze punctuated the dominance of the Altas with back-to-back alley-hoop slams to build the largest lead at 93-63 with only 1:40 left in the game.
Ylagan led all scorers with 21 points with four treys, while Elopre added 16 markers on three treys of his own. Cabanag had 13 points for San Beda.
The one-game championship is set for the morning of Saturday 14 March, tentatively at the San Beda St Placid Gym.

Re: 2014-2015 UE Red Warriors Off Season Updates
Alam ko eligible pa si Mammie.
If I could remember it correctly dumating si Awana kasabay ni Arafat nung first yr ni Codienera. Ang sabi 16 years old lang sya nun 2011.
So nasa 19-20 yrs old sya as of this year. Si Arafat is 21 na correct me if im wrong.
Si Mammie 24 lang sya this year.
Given last yr ni Mammie. Sya muna maglalaro.
Mbala is pure brawns parang Mammie. Kakainin nya si Arafat sa loob.
Mbala could play for 3-4 years. 19-yrs old pa lang sya ngayon. 17 yrs old sya nung lumipat sa DLSU plus 2 yrs residency.

Re: 2014-2015 UE Red Warriors Off Season Updates

Kenneth Alas isn’t joining Letran for college. See where he’s headed
by Angelo Falcon on March 9, 2015
MANILA — If things work out the way Kenneth Alas has planned, then an ace may be going a different route from where and how his brothers and his father have made names for themselves.
Alas, son of multi-titled coach Louie Alas and brothers to former Letran stars Kevin and Junjun Alas, plans to move to University of Santo Tomas in the UAAP after he finishes high school in San Beda.
A transfer to a UAAP school will be a fresh move for the 6-foot-3 forward after his father steered the Knights to multiple titles in the NCAA and after how his older brothers made names for themselves as a staple in the Muralla squad’s program.
Though Alas is keen on moving to Espana for college, he isn’t shutting his doors in staying for San Beda, saying that he’ll still be in talks with newly appointed head coach Jamike Jarin.
The conflict, however, is how he’ll fit in with a loaded Red Lions lineup for next year’s NCAA hostilities.
Most likely, baka mag UAAP ako. Gusto ko lang kasi maglaro, ayoko mag sit out ng isang taon,” He said.

Re: 2014-2015 UE Red Warriors Off Season Updates
Magaling ba yan?
Mawawalan tayo ng 6'6 in Arafat.
3 na point guards natin this season - Sumang, Alberto, Charcos.

Nung time ni Dindo as coach and si Derek ang Consultant marami din silang long and lanky recruits - Borboran, Canizares, Thiele, Espiritu.

Could be the reason for Mammie's demise is yung kaso nya and sa mga naghahabol sa kanya na naanaakan nya?
About Roi joining the draft, the draft could wait.

And he is no better player than those two.
Last two seasons were compromised accdg to a player, if u know what I mean.

Kumusta mga ka-tribo? BTW, sir joescoundrel replied to my post at gameface. According to him, going pro na si Roi. Mukhang legit naman yung info since sa kanya nanggaling. Madami pa naman tayong guards although iba yung may experience. Yung kawalan talaga e si Mammie. Yari tayo dun.
