Re: UAAP Season 76
This is what Noble gives in the UE Offense.
UE vs FEU - Noble 7pts
UE vs NU - Noble 3pts
UE vs AdU - Noble 2pts
12 points total in 3 games he started. At malaki ang playing time nya. Kung binibigay na lang ang playing time nya at starting spot nya kay Gino Jumao-as/Bong Gallanza/JR Sumido baka yung 12 points isang game lang nila makuha eh.
Si Javier - Javier's numbers is on a downward slope, but understandable naman yun kasi kinuha ni Mammie ang slot nya.
Pero 12 points total in 3 games!

I think kaya siya nilagay sa starting five eh dahil before maganda tlaga nilalaro whish is nawala nung pinahinga sya. Maybe, Coach Boyzie should rethink things over.

Re: UAAP Season 76

UST lost to UE in 2 straight games. Wag na nla ibigay to or else, mahihirapan na sila maka-angat.

Re: UAAP Season 76
Since Filoil, may average si Noble na 1-2 airball shot from the outside.
Nadala nya yan til now, panoorin nyo ang replays.
I dunno, kung may pinagdadaanan ba sya.

first post!!
anyareh??????
defense ung naging problema nila. malamya. at syempre ung missed freethrows. 14 ba?

Re: UAAP Season 76

Parang opposite ng box and one.
Nung UE-NU game, ganda ng depensa natin nung latter part. Box and one yung ginawa ni Coach.

MAMMIE suspended prior to the AdU post game incident. No Mammie on Sat, against Teng-less UST. Let's see how the squad will bounce back. Nakaya naman dn nla dati ang UST without him..

Re: UAAP Season 76
Reuben Terrado @reubensports 3h
UE's Charles Mammie has been slapped with a one-game suspension for his second unsportsmanlike foul with intention to hurt
MAMMIE:
I didn't see what happened, pero mas maganda ng ngayon na to dumating kesa later pa. ok narin para mayanig ng onti ang pagiisip nya. He's channeling his intensity the WRONG way. When was the last time wala si Mammie? Its vs. UST is sa filoil right? If im not mistaken Santos stepped up bigtime in that game. Hope he'll do the same this time. This is Santos' moment!
NOBLE:
In the days of Pumaren, he was the intriguing prospect because he's shifty despite his size. May game akong napanood na he drives and gets to the basket with some quick moves. I wonder why after all the short successful stints, Dindo keeps him on the bench. Now I know why. Yung galaw nya nung panahon ni Dindo, yun padin ang moves nya hanggang ngayon. In short, limited. I believe he added weight and more size. para bang nagpa-bulk up siya. ang kaso ambagal na nya, palagi pa syang mukang hingal. He should figure something out, cuz for me, i'd rather start Gallanza in his place.
SUMIDO:
Why hasn't this kid graduated yet? Please naman parang awa nyo na, pa graduatin nyo na. alam ko shooter sya, pero for a VETERAN? VETERAN?
I really just dont know the reason for keeping these guys on the floor.
Here is hoping for the best.
Lets all watch and cheer on Saturday!

Very well said stump.
Great points re Noble.
About Sumido, I am a believer of him for the past 4 years. I believe that he can be the next Allan Caidic having those accurate lefty three point-shots, with almost the allan caidic like form.
I believe that he has this big potential of being UE's main gunner with his deadly outside shooting with his fancy sidestep and slashing abilities.
And now, I am starting to believe all the Sumido doubters. I can even remember last year's Filoil wherin he killed an opponent with mulitple trifectas even shooting a hail mary buzzer beater.
But I think the suspension is unfair. Loyzaga is unfair bigtime!
What about RR Garcia throwing the ball into Casajero's face? There was a clear intent to hurt.
What about Javillonar targeting Teng's previously injured shoulder? It's a clear sign of intent to hurt.
Tsk.
Bawi na lang tayo sa Saturday!
Gising UE!

Re: UAAP Season 76
Any team can beat any team so malamang baka sa game fixing na magreresort ang ibang teams. Wag naman sana.
IF they lose this game again and continue with their inconsistent performance, I doubt they can enter the final four. They need to be CONSISTENT. Scrap the pre-season victory. Face the reality that they are in the bottom of the standings with UP last season. Tulungan nila!

UE and Tanduay is owned of course by Bong Tan. zamar handled bugia before. Re: UAAP Season 76
Zamar not in panic mode despite third UE loss
By Richard Dy
July 13, 2013, 05:40 pm
MOMENTS after University of the East dropped to 1-3, head coach Boycie Zamar said he is not pressing the panic button at all, but simply told his boys that the tournament is far from over.
“In moments like these, the more we should stick together,” Zamar told Spin.ph, shortly after emerging from the gloomy UE dugout following the Red Warriors’ 77-88 loss to the rampaging University of Santo Tomas.
Zamar said he reminded his boys to remember how they overcame the odds during the Fil-Oil Flying V preseason tournament, which they eventually won following their huge championship conquest of National University in the Finals.
“Tandaan lang dapat nila na nanggaling na kami sa ganito, nag 1-2 kami nung Fil-Oil so di na bago ito (slow start) sa amin,” explained Zamar, a member of the UE squad that won back-to-back UAAP championships, which incidentally were the Recto-based school’s last pair of league titles.
When asked how big of a void Sierra Leonian big man Charles Mammie left after serving his one-game suspension, Zamar said it’s something they had to live with despite the last-minute appeal they made.
“It’s (UAAP board’s decision) something that’s beyond our control. Nag-appeal na kami pero wala eh,” he said.
With the 6-foot-8 Mammie out, UST's Camerooninan center Karim Abdul dominated the paint and finished with a new league career-high 25 points on top of 13 rebounds. Aljon Mariano also came up big with 24 markers and 11 boards, while Edward Daquioag added 19 as the trio more than filled up the shoes vacated by injured UST star Jeric Teng.
Zamar, though, wondered why UST got 39 free throws compared to UE’s 17, a whopping difference of 22 attempts.
UST finished the game with 29-of-39 from the foul line, compared to UE’s seven-of-12.
“We just need to come back strong because we’re down, but we’re not yet out,” said Zamar.
UE tries to regain its bearings next Wednesday when it goes up against Ateneo.
