Ateneo pulls out in the Filoil Flying V Hanes Premier Cup, therefore UE will grab the no. 1 spot in Group B

The revised quarterfinal schedule:

Monday

2 p.m. – Arellano (A2) vs. UST (B3)

4 p.m. – UE (B1) vs. Adamson (A4)

Wednesday

2 p.m. – NU (A1) vs. Letran (B4)

4 p.m. – De La Salle (B2) vs. San Beda (A3)

Ateneo’s departure from the tournament meant that the next four teams in Group B all move a step higher. UE takes the top seed in Group A, DLSU comes in at second, while UST climbs to the third. The Colegio de San Juan de Letran Knights sneak into the quarterfinals after placing fifth in Group A play.

The Arellano University Chiefs face the University of Sto. Tomas Growling Tigers on Monday, June 3, at 2pm, while the De La Salle University Green Archers square off against the San Beda Red Lions on the same day at 4pm.

The University of the East Red Warriors engage the the Adamson University Soaring Falcons on Wednesday, June 5, at 2pm, while the National University Bulldogs clash against the Colegio de San Juan de Letran Knights at 4pm on the same day. - RAF, GMA News
