Lucio Tan Group of Companies should support UE's Sports Program

Mga ka-tribo hindi ba kayo nalulungkot dahil sa kawalan ng support sa ating mga koponan hindi nila nakukuha yung magandang training na kailangan nila para maging competitive sila. Ilang sports na walang panalo ang UE this season ang dami..... nakakalungkot makita diba? Sana suportahan ng LTG ang mga teams ng UE since member din ng LTG ang UE. Yung ibang teams solid ang performance dahil may sumusuporta na private companies. Kung maging competitive naman ang mga teams - ang makikinabang naman dito ay ang LTG din.

Eversince Ive been a die-hard yan na ang rant ko same with the other UE loyalists.

But iba kasi ang interest ni Lucio Tan eh, Di ko pa sya nakita nanuod kahit ng isang game ng UE.


Samantalang si Henry Sy kahit nakawheel chair nanuod ng game ng FEU nung sa finals at isang elimination game ng NU.

Nung si Bong Tan naman ang may hawak ng UE Basketball Men's Team, ang interest lang nya is yung College Ball.

If UE could see that hindi lang ang basketball ang importante sa UAAP baka magawan pa ng paraan.

I had a similar post 2-3 years ago.

Magigising na lang yata ang UE pag nazero tayo sa lahat.

Let's admit it, Academics ang priority ng UE. Additional expense kasi sa kanila pag lahat ng teams ay pinondohan nila. And UE is a business. At karamihan ng higher-ups are CPA.

In other words on the side lang ang sports development program para sa kanila.

But we can never tell, baka may efforts din sila na hindi natin alam, the same with Lucio Tan. Sobra sobra na naibigay nya sa UE. Kung wala sya baka natake over na ng Maharishi(?) Cult ang UE, at hindi tayo naging isang UE Warrior.

But one thing is certain, as UE fanatics, we could only do so much.

We need to support our team in any situation they may be, win or lose..

At least we know marami tayong naapektuhan sa performance ng UAAP teams natin.

But despite of the poor performance of the UE Collegiate Teams, we must be proud of our HS Teams, as far as I know, sila ang leading sa HS General Rankings.

10-peat ang UE Boys' Volleyball Team. Kaya lang nakakalungkot, ni hindi man lang mabanggit ng mga volleyball anchors un. Pero pag Ateneo or La Salle un kahit isang championship lang un paulit ulit nilang babatiin un.
